As we reflect on the tragedy of September 11 it is difficult to comprehend just how far we have departed from our unity of propose as Americans following that tragic day.
Leadership in challenging times really matters and can mean the very the survival of a nation.
Until Donald Trump all of our presidents have sought to unite us as ‘one people’ and inspire our better angels. This clearly is not Trump’s goal.
The question remains will we ever be ‘one people’ again?
